1. New test displaying more task information on the “Home” screen
What this means: We’ll soon be testing a new navigation bar that brings information from the “Tasks” panel onto your “Home” screen so you can quickly access relevant task information.
Why we did it: Currently, the Tasker app’s “Home” screen requires you to tap multiple times to find the most relevant information about your business. With this new test, you’ll quickly and easily be able to see:
- Pending tasks
- Task’s for today or the current week
- Ongoing tasks
This will let you access your most actionable task information with ease!

2. Updates to Elite criteria
What this means: We’ve updated your app’s Elite dashboard to reflect a change allowing you to earn Elite status when your Performance Score Rating falls within the top 35% in your metro (instead of the top 15%, which was previously communicated). This means more Elite Taskers and a better chance for you to access this feature and build your business!
Why we did it: We see more success with client booking when we have a higher number of Elite Taskers available.

Maximize your profile for autumn tasks. Fall is here, which means clients may need help preparing their yards and gardens for winter. Opt in to skills in the Outdoor Maintenance category (particularly Yard Work and Branch & Hedge Trimming) to take advantage of the changing season, and update your Skills & Experience description to let clients know what types of tasks you’re able and willing to do.
