- Rae Q.Winston was nice, but did not perform the task the way we were expecting. We hired for trash removal, and I explained on the phone during our scheduling that it needed to be taken to the dump. But Winston showed up with a car and asked to drop the items at our dumpster at the apartment complex, so we had to pay the complex a dumping fee. Perhaps miscommunication, but I feel if we are paying a 2 hour minimum for a 30 minute task for trash and furniture removal it means taking away from the property. We were also moving an elderly male, and thank god my brother showed up unexpectedly because Winston needed help moving the items, which we were not capable of doing or we would have done so in the first place. At that point, my brother could have just done the task himself. Again, Winston was very nice, but since we were already booked for a move later that day we didn’t have time to find another tasker and I wish we had gone with a different person. A two-hour minimum task felt appropriate when the expectation was hauling a mattress and a recliner and taking to the dump, but not when it’s just throwing the mattress off our apartment complex balcony and dragging it to our on-site dumpster and then needing us to assist in carrying the recliner with him, for a total time of 30 minutes.
